Try a worked example
Count corners, not distance. A route can be long and still valid if it uses at most two right-angle turns and crosses only empty spaces. Unlike Color Line, the route can bend and travel outside the board.
Two identical edge tiles cannot connect directly. A route goes out of the board, across the outer border, then back to the second tile. It has three straight segments. Is that too many turns?
Check the answer
No. Three straight segments have two corners, so this route is valid if every segment is unobstructed. A route requiring four segments has three turns and fails. Also compare the complete symbol: similar colors alone are not enough.
The first pair earns 100, the second 125, and each further uninterrupted pair adds another 25, up to 400 per pair. A hint subtracts 50 and a manual shuffle subtracts 75; neither can take the score below zero, and both reset the combo. Clearing the whole board adds 15 points for each remaining second.
