A short sequence lights up on the board. Repeat it exactly to advance. A mistake costs one life and three seconds, but the sequence is shown again. Symbols reinforce every color.
Break a long pattern into groups of two or three positions instead of trying to remember it as one continuous string.
Remember positions and order, including repeats. Watching the pattern does not score points; reproducing the whole sequence does. Input is available only during your turn, so let the demonstration finish before touching a tile.
The board flashes top-left, center, top-left. Should you tap top-left only once because that position has already appeared?
No. Tap top-left, center, top-left in that exact order. A repeated position is a separate step. Completing this three-step pattern earns 30 points and adds one new step to the next pattern. Think of the sequence as a short rhythm, not a set of distinct locations.
The round starts with two steps, worth 20 points when completed. Each complete pattern earns 10 points per step. A wrong tile costs one of your three lives and three seconds, then replays the same pattern. It does not subtract points already earned. Slow down after a mistake and use the replay to repair the missing part.
